The horse show at the Minnesota State Fair is a multi-breed show, consisting of English and Western and a High School Rodeo.

English Horse Schedule (Warner Coliseum - performance classes):
- Wednesday, Aug. 21 — 9 a.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 22 — 9 a.m., 1 and 6 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 23 — 1 and 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 24 — 6 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 25 — 8:30 a.m., noon and 6 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 26 — 1 and 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 27 — 6 p.m.
English Horse Schedule (AgStar Arena - halter classes):
- Saturday, Aug. 24 — 8 a.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 25 — 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 26 — 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Western Horse Schedule (Warner Coliseum - performance classes):

- Thursday, Aug. 29 — noon (approximately; directly following Dairy Championship)

- Friday, Aug. 30 — noon
High School Rodeo Schedule (AgStar Arena - cutting horse competition):

IMPORTANT NOTE: Until the premium book is posted, please consider the dates and times below to be tentative.
ENTRY CLOSING DATE: July 22, 2013

GENERAL INFORMATION AND RULES FOR ENTRY: The English and Western horse premium books, including draft horse and saddle club information, are available annually for download in June. Or, if you prefer to receive a copy by mail, contact the Competition Office at (651) 288-4417 and request to be placed on the mailing list. Exhibitors who have entered within the past three years are already included on that list.
ONLINE REGISTRATION:
Registration and payment for entries online will be available for all English horse and Western horse divisions, with the exception of the WSCA classes, on June 17. Online registration will absolutely close on the entry closing date at 4:30 p.m. No late entries may be submitted via the online registration process. Entries may also be submitted via mail.
