The K-12 Competition (formerly Education Department) presents an annual exhibition of the work of Minnesota students in Kindergarten through grade 12. Students entering in Individual Exhibits may submit a variety of items; projects conceived and executed at home as well as school projects are welcome. The Technology Education division includes works produced in shop class. In 2015, more than 3,800 items were entered and exhibited.
